love of the game.
I'm Michael Briggs. The events I run sit between two things — not a rec league where half the people care deeply and half couldn't care less, and not an official tournament where you stand to gain much of anything. Just a good time, some new friends, a few new perspectives, and the understanding that ballplayers the world over look out for each other. It's for the love of the game.
How I got into the game / Why this is personal
I have Cystic Fibrosis and I was blessed to play this game my entire life, therefore I feel obligated to give back to those who made it possible and provide hope to those who feel like they can't, while ensuring those who play respect the game, their coaches, their teammates, and let the lessons they learned in their love for the game roll over into every breath.

25% of net proceeds from events donated to Cystic Fibrosis research.
Giving back means turning something I lost into something other players get to keep. Every event we run is a chance to play for something bigger than a result.

What I'm building
More ways to play, on purpose.
Road2Victory runs mini games within existing tournaments and its own events for slow pitch softball, youth baseball, adult baseball and girls softball — competition that stays human, and gives back.
